To be filled with the Love of Christ, I must be emptied of selfish desire.
…with the Peace and Power of Christ, I must be emptied of selfish dependence.
…with the Word of Christ, I must be emptied of selfish knowledge.
…with the Glory, meekness and gentleness of Christ, I must be emptied of selfish pride.
…with the Work of Christ, I must be emptied of selfish ambition.
So to be filled with the Fulness of Christ, I must be emptied of myself.
It is when our eyes behold His glory and beauty that the things of earth grow dim and we reflect that glory. 2Cor. 3:18
To be filled with christlikeness we should be filled with the Holy Spirit.It is the Holy Spirit who helps us to deny the worldliness , sinful desires and temptations from the evil one and produces and brings out in us the fruit of the spirit, the aroma of Christ.
