Thus the cross our Lord gives to us ought to be a joy to bear in the realization of what He has done for us. The paralytic\u2019s habits had totally changed, and they were in stark contrast to the religious system around him. When we go from darkness to light, our lives become new and we become truly different from the religious system of works around us.
