What if we quit? Who will bear the Good News,
\nSpread the glad message if we should refuse?
\nWe must go forth: there is no other way:
\nLet us press on without further delay.<\/p>\n
What if we quit when the way becomes hard?
\nRugged and rough was the path of our Lord.
\nBitter the cup which He drank for our sake:
\nHe did not quit, nor His mission forsake.<\/p>\n
What if we quit? Have we counted the cost?
\nMen in their sins are eternally lost.
\nJesus has died their salvation to win:
\nStill they will perish and die in their sin.<\/p>\n
What if we quit? Can we not hear the cry
\nRising from souls who are fearful to die?
\nHow can we carelessly heed not their plea?
\nVoices are calling to you and to me.<\/p>\n

\nSpreading the gospel ’til all men have heard;
\nPromised Thy power to defeat every foe,
\nPromised Thy presence as onward we go.<\/p>\n
