In the morning when I wake, I know He’ll never me forsake.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. \u00a0They are new every morning<\/strong>: great is thy faithfulness<\/strong>. \u00a0Lam. 3:22-23 <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning<\/strong>; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way <\/strong>wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. \u00a0Psalm 143:8<\/em>
\n<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

In the evening before I sleep, I praise the One who who did me keep.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a good thing… to shew forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy\u00a0faithfulness<\/strong> every night… \u00a0Psalm 92:1-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

And he led them forth by the right way<\/strong>, that they might go to a city of habitation. \u00a0Psalm 107:7 <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

Mornings for the Lord Jesus<\/strong><\/h2>\n

His communion in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark 1:35 \u00a0And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alone with His Father, He spent precious moments of communion in the morning before His work for the day began.<\/p>\n

His conversation in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke 21:38 \u00a0And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.<\/em><\/p>\n

He didn’t wait to be about His Father’s business. It was His occupation from break of day.<\/p>\n

His crucifixion in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark 15:1 \u00a0And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.<\/em><\/p>\n

The evening previous had been marked by tears, sweat and agony. He had already faced this day and was strong for whatever lay before Him. He knew all that was going to happen, and today, just like every other day, He willingly submitted to the will of His Father, though today would be like no other day in all of history, eternity.<\/p>\n

His \u00a0resurrection in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark 16:2 \u00a0And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.<\/em><\/p>\n

His resurrection marked the dawn of a new day, a new hope, a bright future for those who trust in Him.<\/p>\n

His commission in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

John 21:4 \u00a0But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.<\/em><\/p>\n

He came first to calm their fears, to eliminate their doubts, and then to empower their spirits for service.<\/p>\n

His coming in the morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Genesis 1:5 \u00a0…And the evening and the morning were the first day. <\/em><\/p>\n

Romans 13:12 \u00a0The night is far spent, the day is at hand<\/em><\/p>\n

2 Peter 1:19 …until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em>Song of Songs 2:17 \u00a0Until the day break, and the shadows flee away…<\/em><\/p>\n

Psalm 30:5 \u00a0…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Soon the night of sorrow and difficulty will give way to the morning of joy. \u00a0God who shined His glorious gospel into our dark hearts will take us to be with Himself. There is no night there.\u00a0The shadows will be dispelled, and we will have the substance.<\/p>\n
