I&#8217;m not sure who the author is&#8211; if you do please let me know so I can post it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jesus dying on the tree<br \/>\nMeans Jehovah&#8217;s just decree-<br \/>\nWords of Him who cannot lie:-<br \/>\n&#8220;Whoso sinneth, he shall die.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nYes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!<br \/>\nYes, Jesus loves me! He died upon the tree.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJesus dying on the tree<br \/>\nMeans the sentence passed on me<br \/>\nHas descended on His head,<br \/>\nAnd that He hath died instead.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJesus dying on the tree<br \/>\nMeans that mercy now is free;<br \/>\nFree to bless, since He hath died,<br \/>\nAnd God&#8217;s justice satisfied.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJesus dying on the tree<br \/>\nMeans\u00a0&#8211; and oh, how blest to see-<br \/>\nThat believing, I&#8217;m forgiven,<br \/>\nWhite as snow, and meet for Heaven.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I received these &#8220;new&#8221; words to the familiar song &#8220;Jesus loves me&#8221; and thought I would share them with you.
